The flagship park at Cliff Harvey Lagoon Reserve was last updated in 2010. It features:

  • a large open grassed area
  • many significant mature trees
  • a public toilet
  • pathways
  • a playground with an elevated mound
  • picnic facilities and two picnic shelters
  • car parking.

Some of these features are outdated and need improving or replacing. So we are starting to plan to upgrade the park to:

  • create a meaningful and iconic place for the community
  • create a multi-functional and adaptable space for various activities
  • provide equity and accessibility for different groups of people
  • encourage social interaction.

To achieve this, the upgrade will include:

  • playground improvements to cater to a range of ages and abilities
  • upgrading existing pathways, furniture and facilities where appropriate
  • landscaping to enhance biodiversity and amenity.
