Project update

We used your feedback to review our Kindergarten Registration and Enrolment Policy. This included considering more local criteria for inclusion.

The final Policy will be available early 2024. It will come into effect for registrations for the 2025 kindergarten year.

We will also use this information to inform future kindergarten provisions planning.

Consultation results

The survey sought to understand:

  • what is most important to families when selecting and accessing kindergarten
  • what the reforms will mean for families in Brimbank and how they plan to access kindergarten
  • timetable preferences
  • access and travel to/from kindergarten

This is what we heard.
