About
Moving Brimbank – Our Integrated Transport Strategy (ITS) aims to create liveable and connected neighbourhoods that support a healthy and sustainable future for Brimbank. The community helped shape the strategy through early public consultation in 2024. We want to make sure it continues to reflect the community's values.
The strategy responds to current and future challenges and opportunities Brimbank is facing by expected growth and infrastructure changes.
To achieve the vision, we work with the state and federal government and other local groups in creating positive integrated transport experiences for our community.
There are ten strategies in the draft ITS. These provide direction for what Council should focus on, to help achieve the vision:

What we know about transport in Brimbank
In 2024, we surveyed 464 people about how they moved around Brimbank. (379 random door to door surveys + 85 online surveys.) This is what we learned.
