We are responsible for maintenance and management of local roads within Brimbank. Our Road Management Plan guides us in the management of public roads. It doesn't include main roads such as VicRoads arterials and freeways.

The draft Plan includes:

• standards and level of service provided in maintaining Council managed roads
• inspection frequency
• how quickly we will respond to road issues.

We review the Plan every 4 years following a Council election with the legislation:

• Section 54 of the Road Management Act 2004
• Road Management (General) Regulations 2016.
