Thank you to all those who provided their feedback. The reviewed plan was endorsed by Council at the Ordinary Council Meeting on 15 June 2021. For a copy of the Road Management Plan 2021 please see here.
Under the Road Management Act 2004, Council is responsible for carrying out the maintenance and management of local roads within the City of Brimbank.
Council’s Road Management Plan is reviewed every four years following a Council election and sets out procedures and systems for the management of public roads (not including main roads such as VicRoads arterials and freeways).
This draft Plan has been developed for the community to review and provide feedback. It is important to us that you understand what is included. The draft Plan outlines the standards and level of service provided in maintaining the roads that are managed by Council, sets out how often the roads will be inspected and how quickly Council will respond to road issues.
The draft Road Management Plan has been developed in accordance with section 54 of the Road Management Act 2004 and the Road Management (General) Regulations 2016.
The draft Plan is listed in the Document Library.
