Council has prepared the draft Sunshine Rising Place Management Framework 2026 – 2031 to guide how Council, businesses, property owners and the community will work together to make the Sunshine CBD a safe, vibrant and welcoming place over the next five years.

The Framework sets a clear direction for managing Sunshine through a period of significant growth and change, ensuring it remains a vibrant, welcoming and resilient place. We want to hear from everyone connected to Sunshine — including businesses, property owners, residents, workers, visitors, community organisations, developers and agencies with an interest in the area.

Your feedback will inform the final Framework and help ensure it reflects the needs, experiences and aspirations of the people who use and contribute to Sunshine every day.

The new Framework sets out a vision for 2031 focusing on five key areas:
