Help us shape our Advocacy Plan for 2025-27.

Every two years, we review our Advocacy Plan to ensure it reflects the priorities most important to Brimbank.

Some challenges our community face are too big for Council to address alone. Priorities like transport infrastructure, housing and homelessness, mental health, and the climate emergency all need involvement from State and Federal Governments to create change.

That is why our Advocacy Plan is an important part of shaping the future of Brimbank. It guides what we will focus on when advocating to Federal and State Governments. This advocacy is one way we can help create positive change for our community.

Our Advocacy Plan is closely linked to our Council Plan, Community Vision 2040 and Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan. The Advocacy Plan supports us to achieve the priorities and vision for the future set out in these documents.

We’re currently reviewing our plan, and we want to hear from you.

We want to know:

  • Your top five advocacy priorities
  • If there are specific focus areas within those priorities
  • If there are any priorities we haven’t listed

Your feedback will directly shape our Advocacy Plan and guide our actions moving forward. Have your say and help us make a difference!
