We have selected Balmoral Park to incorporate a skate park. It is centrally located in Derrimut and is easily accessible by public transport.

To create a welcoming environment, the design of the new skate park will consider:

• a range of skate styles
• abilities
• age
• gender.

To make sure the design reflects community needs and interests we want to understand:

• how the park can cater to beginners and intermediate users
• the types of elements and features that you would like to see in the park
• how these elements can cater to a range of different styles, including roller skating, rollerblading and scooters
• how the space can support spectators, parents and carers.
