Community Kindergarten Survey Results

9 May 2025

The Annual Community Kindergarten Survey 2024 was undertaken in late 2024. The survey sought to:

  • Understand your experience of the kindergarten registration process
  • Ensure our kindergarten guidelines are meeting family needs
  • Inform future planning for kindergarten infrastructure provision

A total of 591 community members responded to the survey, including 375 responses facilitated by Outreach Officers that targeted culturally and linguistically diverse community. We will use this information to inform future planning for kindergarten provisions in Brimbank.

The information will leverage on our stakeholder partnership and sector capability to reflect best practice along with understanding community need in terms of accessing sessional and integrated kindergarten. This will enable strategic direction for infrastructure investment to meet demand.

This is what we heard.
